If you’re on our mailing list than you already know that we’ve got a super limited pressing available of Belvedere’s seminal skate punk classic Angels Live in My Town<\/em>. If you’re not on our mailing list, well, you’d best hurry up and grab one because we’ve already gone through more than half of the 100 copies of this release that are available.<\/span><\/p>\n

Back in 2012 we released a sick double LP with our favorite Canadian skate punks, Belvedere. The\u00a0Self-Titled<\/em>\u00a0double LP featured the band’s sophomore release\u00a0Angels Live in My Town<\/em>\u00a0and third full length release ‘Twas Hell Said Former Child<\/em>. We pressed 1000 on Opaque Red and Coke Bottle Clear respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n

Well, pressing plants being all jacked up and on 10 month turns is nothing new, nor is over pressing a record, and that’s what we have here.<\/span><\/p>\n

118 copies of\u00a0Angels Live in My Town<\/em>\u00a0were ‘over pressed’. A bunch were double labeled, or had labels partially adhered, and unsellable. No copies of\u00a0‘Twas Hell<\/em>\u00a0were over pressed. So, what to do with the 100 good copies of\u00a0Angels<\/em>?<\/span><\/p>\n

Well, here we are nine years later and we’ve got the answer.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We went back to our good friend\u00a0JP Flexner<\/a>, the man behind the original double LP artwork and asked him to come up with a new design for a limited release cover taking inspiration from the original\u00a0Angels Live in My Town<\/em>\u00a0artwork and the double LP artwork that he created.<\/span><\/p>\n

The result is a very limited, first time ever available as an individual release ‘pressing’ of\u00a0Angels Live in My Town<\/em>.\u00a0100 copies only with hand numbered jackets. That’s it. That’s all she wrote.<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0We can’t say for certain that this record will never be released again as a stand alone version, but for now, if you’re a die hard Belvedere fan or a must have vinyl collector, you don’t want to miss out on this limited release.<\/span><\/p>\n
