So, now that our website is 100% functional again, we can get back to doing what we do best, and we'd like to think that's putting out kick ass records. I can't tell you enough how much the past two and half months have been a strain on things around here. What started out as a simple shopping cart update turned into a giant fiasco of server changes, email server outages, SQL server and database outages....you name it, it wasn't working. All because we wanted to let people use Paypal to order through our online ordering system (especially you overseas people). So, it's fixed, hallelujah, let's move on, shall we?
Even with all the troubles, we've been busy trying to keep this train rolling with some awesome new releases coming out in the next few weeks and months. First up is the LP release of A Wilhelm Scream's Career Suicide, which hits stores July 29th. You can pre-order that now on our Web Store. We have started shipping those, and right now, order volume has been over anything I could have anticipated. If you placed an order already but haven't received yours, please be patient. There is but one of me and many, many of you. I expect to have all pre-sales shipped no later than July 18th. Both the band and I appreciate your support by picking up a copy.
After that, we've got some awesome new releases coming out this fall from the Netherlands' very own, Antillectual, who will be releasing their latest record through Jump Start as a vinly LP and digital download come September 23rd, as well as brand new 7"s from Jena Berlin and One Win Choice, and a brand new full-length from Lighten Up! as well.
So, as you can see, we're keeping busy. We're working on mailorder as quickly as possible, and we want to thank everyone who's placed an order with us over the past 10 weeks while things with the website and web store have been so screwy. Keep supporting independent labels! Hopefully we won't go the way of the dinosaur like many of our gigantic brethren that keep on shoving amplified dogshit down your throat every week.
Stay safe this summer! |
